A Child With A Broken Promise!

Did you experience a broken promise? Honestly it's hurts must of the time but we need to understand it because they are certain situation that can help us to be a better person.
From it's meaning to say or to give one's assurance that one will give.
Let me tell you something about a boy with a broken promise that make his life ruined.

One day there was a child, he is one of the favorite child by his parents. Everything he wanted his parents granted. But one time his parents noticed that he changed a lot because he don't know how to give to others, become disrespectful to them and have no faith in God. So his parents made up a right solution from it by limiting his pleasures.
The first impression to the child was made a big impact with his life, because he was thinking that his parent don't love him and he is not important to the family. And turn him to an inappropriate behavior.
" For you what was your first impression to this situation if your parents to this to you?"
"And in this simple situation you will follow what the child did?"
When the child grown up he really change a lot by this simple situation but for the child was not. In his 23 years of existence his life was focus to his friends than to his parents turning him to a rebellious, disrespectful to his parents and he really forget the presence of God. Because of the bad influences of his friends he probably take a prohibited drugs.  And never knowing that is dangerous to his life.
" Based on my studying on the effects of using drugs it could affect how we think and act and also has a big impact with other people and specially with your family."
And one time he attempted to murder his parents, thankfully his brother stop him by hitting a vase to his head. His parents was crying and thinking what happen to him and turning to a demons. And he was take to a hospital to cure his wounds on his head. Then, one day his parents took him in the rehabilitation center.
"Now a days, they are a lot of youth taking drugs to avoid his loneliness and some others for pleasures. I will be straight to you! What makes a drugs for us, without releasing that it could affect your others."
So when he continuous to stay in the rehab he probably changed for more than a months in the rehab. Releasing that God is always on our side, and He is always ready to help us. Importantly he values life and his family.
Until one day, that he probably change. He ready to face the reality although it's to hard because what is the expectation of the other people, but he ignored it. Because the only word that come up with his mind was I really change and God is always on my side. :)

Moriones Festival, Marinduque, Philippines

One of the Philippines most Colorful Festival

One of the most colorful festivals celebrated in the island of Marinduque is the Moriones Festival. Morion means "mask" or "visor," a part of the medieval Roman armor which covers the face. Moriones, on the other hand, refers to the masked and costumed penitents who march around the town for seven days searching for Longinus. This week-long celebration starts on Holy Monday and culminates on Easter Sunday when the story of Longinus is reenacted in pantomime. This is a folk-religious festival that re-enacts the story of Longinus, a Roman centurion who was blind in one eye.

Legend has it that Longinus pierced the side of the crucified Christ. The blood that spurted forth touched his blind eye and fully restored his sight. This miracle converted Longinus to Christianity and earned the ire of his fellow centurions. The re-enactment reaches its climax when Longinus is caught and beheaded.
The festival is characterized by colorful Roman costumes, painted masks and helmets, and brightly-colored tunics. The towns of Boac, Gasan, Santa Cruz, Buenavista and Mogpog in the island of Marinduque become one gigantic stage.

The observances form part of the Lenten celebrations of Marinduque. The various towns also hold the unique tradition of the pabasa or the recitation of Christ's passion in verse. The Via Crucis is also reenacted and flagellants, known as antipos, inflict suffering upon themselves as a form of atonement. After three o'clock on Good Friday afternoon, the Santo Sepulcro is observed, whereby old women exchange verses based on the Bible as they stand in wake of the dead Christ.

Did you know that
Morion means mask, which is part of the medieval Roman centurion’s helmet. Moriones are the masked penitents who take part in the reenactment of the legend of Longinus, and Passion of the Christ.

Bruno Mars to hold concert in RP By ROWENA JOY A. SANCHEZ

MANILA, Philippines - Another half-Filipino artist is said to join the line-up of international musicians who will come to the Philippines in 2011: Bruno Mars.
The buzz is that the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer will set foot in the country in April. Eventologist, host and columnist Tim Yap tweeted on Dec. 30 that Bruno’s show will be on April 9 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
“Confirmed by @lounell :Bruno Mars: Live in Manila! April 9, 2011 Mall of Asia Concert Grounds Tayor Swift, then Bruno Mars. Hello, 2011!” read his post, which was immediately re-tweeted by Bruno’s Filipino fans.
Other online posts, meanwhile, indicated that Mars' concert in Manila will be on April 8. He is also said to hold a show in Cebu on April 7. An official announcement has yet to be made regarding the concert date.
Bruno, who made a successful crossover from writing and producing songs as part of the The Smeezingtons trio to launching a career as a solo artist, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a Puerto Rican father and a Filipino mother. Named Peter Hernandez in real life, the singer was given the nickname “Bruno” by his father when he was two years old, after a “chubby” wrestler named Bruno Sammartino. He later on added “Mars” as his surname when he was in the studio.
Bruno achieved remarkable success with the release of his debut album “Doo Woops and Hooligans,” which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart last October. He scored his second number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Grenade” while his “Just The Way You Are” spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard chart.
Bruno is up for seven trophies in the next Grammys, including a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance for “Just The Way You Are.”

Azkals ready to go to next level

Don’t expect the Azkals to lose their bite just because there’s trouble within the Philippine Football Federation.

Team manager Dan Palami, who has bankrolled the Azkals’ incredible surge, made the assurance yesterday, saying the players, both local and with foreign blood, are up to the task.

“As far as the team is concerned, we have always insulated ourselves from the politics of the NSA (national sports association). We have always concentrated on just playing,” he said.

There’s trouble within the PFF because Jose Mari Martinez is contesting his removal as president, and has filed a temporary restraining order (TRO) to prevent his successor, Mariano “Nonong” Araneta, from performing his duties.

Martinez’ lawyer, Ciriaco Calalang, filed the TRO three days ago before the Pasig Regional Trial Court.

“But the court has not acted upon it yet. It was supposed to be raffled off last Thursday but it did not happen. Maybe it will happen in the coming new year,” said Palami.

Martinez faced allegations of mishandling the PFF funds, leading to his ouster last Nov. 27 when 26 of 30 local football associations installed Araneta as the new PFF president.

The world governing body in the sport, FIFA, has already recognized Araneta as the rightful PFF head, as well as the Philippine Olympic Committee through the efforts of its chairman, Monico Puentevella.

If the leadership worsens, as it seems to be, having reached the courts, the PFF faces suspension from FIFA.

“I’m just worried if FIFA suspends the PFF because if that happens, we will not be able to play in international tournaments,” said Palami over the phone yesterday.

The FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation said it will look deep into the PFF mess.

The football-loving businessman assured everyone that his support will continue, but expressed concern that the politics within the PFF may turn off potential sponsors or others who are willing to help the team.

“I have always taken care of the players but instead of getting additional help, the potential sponsors might be discouraged by the row,” he said.

Palami added that a couple of big-name sponsors are knocking on the doors of the Azkals, who recently made waves by reaching the semis of the AFF Suzuki Cup, even landing on the pages of the prestigious Sports Illustrated magazine.

One of the potential sponsors was a backer of the recent World Cup and the Euro Cup, but Palami opted not to name it first until the letter of intent is sealed, signed and delivered.

Again, he assured the Filipino football fans that the Azkals won’t be affected by the PFF row, in the way they were not intimidated by 88,000 Indonesian fans in their gallant stand in the Suzuki Cup.

“As for the players, it hasn’t affected them at all. Instead, they’re worried that it might affect me. But it won’t,” said Palami.
